Play Rescue ApS ("we", "us") runs the website rescuewarsonline.com and makes the game Niko's Rescue Zoo. This policy explains what personal data the website collects, why we collect it, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Danish data protection law.

1. Who is responsible

2. What we collect

Looking around the website stores nothing about you. We only collect data when you sign up with the form:

• Your email address.
• The language of the page you signed up on (English or Danish).
• The country your connection comes from, as two letters (for example DK), given to us by our website host.
• When you gave your consent, and which version of the consent text you agreed to.
• A one-way code made from your IP address, used only to stop the form being flooded. It is deleted after 24 hours. We never store your IP address itself.

We do not collect names, postal addresses or payment details through this website.

3. Why we collect it (legal basis)

Based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), we use your email address to:

• put you on our sign-up list for the game;
• email you an invitation when there is a spot for you;
• send you big news about the game, rarely.

Protecting the form against bots and floods (the anti-bot check and the 24-hour code) is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the list free of abuse (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

We never sell your email address or share it with anyone for marketing.

4. Where it is stored

The sign-up list is kept in a database at Cloudflare, our website host, set to store the data inside the EU. Only Play Rescue ApS can read the list.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your email address while we use the sign-up list for invitations and news about the game, until you withdraw your consent or ask us to delete it. When the list is no longer needed, we delete it.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access: get a copy of the data we hold about you;
• Rectification: have wrong data corrected;
• Erasure: have your data deleted;
• Withdraw consent at any time;
• Portability: get your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
• Complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.

7. Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own, and it uses no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising. Its fonts are served from our own site.

The video about the Rescue Zoo loads from YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode) only when you press play. From then on, YouTube (Google) may set cookies under Google's Privacy Policy.

8. Other services we use

• Cloudflare, Inc.: hosts the website and the sign-up list, and runs the anti-bot check on the form (Cloudflare Turnstile), which looks at information about your browser and connection to tell people from bots. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• YouTube (Google LLC): plays the video, only after you press play.

9. Children

This website is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new date.
