Rewarding the player for exploration
Rewarding the player for exploration
The world in Rescue Wars Online is not just a static world that first comes alive when you pick up a quest. It rewards the player for going off the trail and exploring. You might find a treasure, a boss, rare materials, or entering a portal to a different dimension.

Player housing but your neighbors are actually your friends
Having a character you have played on for years can be a meaningful experience in an MMORPG, but why not have a meaningful place to live inside of the game aswell? Housing in Rescue Wars Online is a social experience where your house is not just a single-player experience. But you can actually see your friends living right next door to you. Besides making a cosmetic beautiful house to show of, the players will also build rewarding builds to progress in gear, sockets, buffs, storages, abilities, and much more. |

Community made and inspired content
The beautiful thing about developing a community-centered game is that we can create the content we like! Did someone say a funny inside joke on stream? “Let’s put it in the game!” A PVP tournament on top of the mountain Monday night? Okey?! - Whatever we wanna do and see, can go into the game. Rescue Wars Online is more an interactive tool to engage with the Play Rescue community while raising money for the rescue animals, not a perfect game. All that matters is that we are having fun, not that the game is perfect.

Rescue Missions - A random adventure with a friend
You are part of the rescue team, and therefore you pick up distress signals from around the galaxy to help save the universe from the evil coffee machine and his evil robot army. Rescue missions are random rescue missions from around the galaxy. Going out on a rescue mission will give you and your friends a fast adventure you can go out and complete together. Players do not follow a linear questline but are randomly sent out on an adventure.
Rescue Missions will reward the player with an epic adventure together where there is a chance to receive new items, tressures, epic battles, or that missing material to continue building on their houses.

Twitch Channel points - Rescue Coins
The more you watch the "Play Rescue animal charity" stream, the more you get rewarded inside of the game.
The channel points Rescue Coins on the Play Rescue channel are redeemable to be used inside of the game. Even if you are not lucky enough to get an invite to the game, you can still use the channel points to tease or help players live in the game world.
Are you ever going to release Rescue Wars Online to the public?
This is a tough question because we might let more people play the game over time, but at the moment we are not sure if the game will ever get a normal public release.
The reason for this is because we wanna have players that know the right intention behind the game. The game is an interactive tool to engage with the streaming community and raising money for charity. In its current state, it is not a perfect game by any means, but we believe it’s a fun game, that a community can get a lot out of.
Over time as we test and develop the game, it might get to a state where we can open up more servers, but for now, the game will be on-demand and invite online. We will only have the servers open when we are live streaming or have announced that it will be a game night. This way we are sure people will not sprint through the content, and we can each week have new fresh content ready for everyone to enjoy and look forward to.
